why we need sanskrit

First of all sanskrit is  a Deva basha[spoken by gods]. we have to preserve our cultural heritage and showcase the world that there is no other language superior than sanskrit. we have to get connected with our roots. and understand the essence of our culture..   As on today we do not many of the meanings of the names given to the individuals or practices that are followed  in yajnyas, or various philosophies of our own religion, many concepts therein etc. for these we need sanskrit  and just mere translation by various language cannot help you. original works and their charms are lost when you translate, many a times. SANSKRIT contains hundreds of ancient works pertaining to every branch of knowledge. As you know every individual strives for three things knowledge, prosperity and happiness. Sanskrit is an ideal instrument to access them all. Nowadays even English dictionaries has some of the sanskrit words. such as MOTHER[derived from matharhh] yoga, Ayurveda, vastu, vedanta, etc. There are thousands of works in sansrit. The domain of sanskrit is so vast that  you can give your own expression. for example fridge an english word can be given  a sanskrit  expression as sheeta petika.. in other languages you can have a limitation of using   the equivalent of modern english expressions. In sanskrit, you are the master and you can create. also see the beauty of sanskrit grammar. for example---- Rmaha  Vanam gachhathi.[ Rama goes to forest]. in English you can't say forest goes to Ra ma. or goes rama to forest. whereas in sanskrit we can use a sentence in anyway you want  for example gachhahi vanam Ramaha, vanam RAMAHA  gachhathi.. anyway you express the sentence does have ameaning, Hence my dear friends learn sanskrit even if you are old enough as now easy way of leraning sanskrit is there.  You have an organisation called samskrit Bharathi having now thousands of centers, all over the world. spoken sankrit within ten days, one month course, week end course, six month courses, yearly courses, or even postal courses.[costs only 200 rupees along with books]. you can contact Bombay rep MITESH KATIRA--MOBILE----09833777556  He can give you  information  on  .how to  learn sanskrit.
